5 bold predictions for the Buccaneers against the Raiders in Week 7

Both Teams Will Combine For 51 Points

As it currently stands, ESPN has the over under set at 53.5. This comes as a surprise as both teams rank in the top 10 of scoring offenses in the NFL. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers currently average 29.5 points per game, while the Vegas Raiders average 30.2 points per game.

This Raider offense is no joke as they are led by Derek Carr, who has some serious weapons in Josh Jacobs, Darren Waller and rookie speedster, Henry Ruggs. Ruggs showed off his speed in the win over the Chiefs by blowing past the defender and reeling in the bomb for the touchdown.

As eluded to earlier, the Tampa Bay offense has defenses losing sleep at night with their offensive arsenal. But, offense sells tickets and defense wins championships. This Tampa Bay defense is legit. Last week, they shut down the Packers and this week, they will shut down the Raiders.

Todd Bowles is not afraid to bring pressure. While the Raiders showed they can beat zero coverage with the speed of Henry Ruggs, it is hard to do that consistently. Whether or not they get the sacks, the Buccaneers defensive front is physical and gets a lot of hits on the quarterback. The Raiders have had ample time to prepare for this game. But, pressure burst pipes and this Tampa Bay defensive front is going to be too much to handle for this Vegas offense.

I got the Buccaneers winning 34-17.
