5. Leonard Fournette Logs 15+ Carries
The Jacksonville Jaguars decided to completely clean house and release Fournette prior to the regular season. The Buccaneers were in need of help at the running back position and decided to add Fournette to the equation. Ronald Jones was named the starter for Week 1 but that will most likely change moving forward.
It took Fournette just two games to get comfortable on his new team. Since entering the league, Fournette has been a dominant runner and workhorse for the Jaguars. This is something that the Buccaneers have lacked.
The addition of Fournette could take the offense to the next level and that is why his signing in Tampa Bay gained much attention. In Week 3, Fournette will long at least 15 carries as they begin to work him into the starting role.
This is not saying that Jones will be completely out. Both he and LeSean McCoy will be used in different situations throughout the season. At this point, neither are the runners that Fournette is.
