2. Melvin Gordon Scores Twice
Melvin Gordon was part of the complete renovation of the Broncos’ offense in the offseason. He and Phillip Lindsay are a dynamic duo in the backfield but Gordon may be on his own in Week 3.
At one time, Gordon was one of the premier backs in the game. He has the ability and will have the chance in Denver to dominate.
The Buccaneers allowed Christian McCaffrey to find the end zone twice in Week 2 and Gordon will have that same fate. He is a capable receiver out of the backfield and is a workhorse who can lead an offense.
This is a chance for Gordon to really take over the starting job. He is first on the depth chart but Lindsay is not out of the equation. When he returns, Gordon should still get a majority of the carries.
