The Arizona Cardinals Will Have 0 Penalties
The Arizona Cardinals are tied for first in most penalties against thus far in the NFL. They are tied with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, averaging 8.4 penalties per game.
This is a problem for this Cardinals team that has a lot of young guys on the roster. Coming into the season, it was no secret that the Cardinals weakness’ were their offensive line and secondary. Murray is dynamic enough to mask some of the issues of the offensive line. But, he cannot help them avoid holding penalties or false starts.
What concerns me in this game is their secondary versus the Dallas wideouts. Patrick Peterson and Byron Murphy Jr. going up against Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup and Ceedee Lamb. This Arizona team is coming off a game against the Jets where they allowed only 195 passing yards through the air. But, WR Jamison Crowder had a big game recording 8 catches for 116 yards and 1 touchdown.
The Cardinals had 10 penalties for 59 yards in their win over the Jets. I am going out on a limb stating the Cardinals will be disciplined on Monday Night with 0 penalties.
