5 bold predictions for the Cardinals vs. Jets matchup in Week 5

There are just two wins between these teams and both have come from the Arizona Cardinals. They will travel to MetLife Stadium to take on the New York Jets, who have emerged as the front runners for the first overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.

The Cardinals turned everyone into believers after a 2-0 start but it has not been smooth sailing since. They have lost their last two games to the Detroit Lions and Carolina Panthers. Many believed that they would be 4-0 heading into this matchup but that is not the case. Kyler Murray is beginning to turn the ball over at a high rate. DeAndre Hopkins is still tearing up secondaries in a big way.

As for the Jets, they had a chance to win a game on Thursday night against the Denver Broncos and did not. Now, you have to wonder when their next opportunity will be.

There is a real chance that this team goes defeated, especially if Adam Gase is going to be the coach for the rest of the season. Sam Darnold has yet to progress and the offensive line has been terrible. There is not much to be excited about as a Jets fan.

Heading into this game, the Cardinals are big favorites on the road and rightfully so. Here are five predictions for this lopsided matchup.
