3. Justin Herbert Will Be Sacked 5+ Times

A big reason why the Bucs defense has been so successful this season has been because of their pass rush. Shaq Barrett is looking to recapture the throne as the reigning league leader in sacks.

However, he may have some competition from his own teammate, Jason Pierre-Paul is looking as good as ever so far. Ndamukong Suh, Vita Vea, and William Gholston are all doing a great job at providing interior pressure. With all the focus on the Tampa offense over the offseason, it’s been their pass rush that’s impressed me the most.

Facing a strong pass rush is not going to be easy for the Chargers. Los Angeles does not have a very good offensive line. They’ve given up two sacks in each matchup. That doesn’t sound like too much, but they’ve yet to face a pass rush anywhere close to the Buccaneers’ pass rush yet.

The Chargers have a fairly aggressive offensive strategy and I don’t think that will change this week. Which means plenty of opportunities to get to the quarterback.

The strong Bucs pass rush going against a week Chargers o-line will be a big issue for Los Angeles. The Buccaneers will come away with at least 5 sacs this week. The Chargers will probably look to counter that with some screens to their running backs or wideouts. However, the Bucs pass rush will still play an important role in this weeks game.
