5 bold predictions for the Chargers vs. Saints matchup in Week 5

The latest edition of Monday Night Football will feature the 1-3 Los Angeles Chargers and the 2-2 New Orleans Saints. This game will consist of two quarterbacks on two different spectrums in terms of experience and success in the NFL.

The Saints are of course led by future Hall of Famer and Super Bowl Champion, Drew Brees, who is near the end of his playing career at the age of 41. The Chargers are led by a rookie out of Oregon who is in search of his first NFL win, Justin Herbert.

The Chargers drafted Herbert with the 6th overall pick in the draft and due to unseen circumstances to Tyrod Taylor, Herbert got the starting position in week 2 and has been impressive thus far. He will now be making his prime-time debut against the Saints in New Orleans. Luckily for him, he will not have to deal with WHO DAT nation as no fans are permitted in the arena.

The Saints are coming off a victory where they just sneaked by the Lions while the Chargers are coming off a loss to the Buccaneers in which they once held a 24-7 lead. Both teams are desperate for a win with the hopes of kick starting their playoff aspirations.

Here are five bold predictions for the Los Angeles Chargers vs. New Orleans Saints matchup in Week 5 of the 2020 NFL season.
