5 bold predictions for the Kansas City Chiefs against the Bills in Week 6

Clyde Edwards-Helaire Will Record 2 Touchdowns

The first round draft pick out of LSU, Clyde Edwards-Helaire or as Tony Romo referred to him, “Clyde the Glide”, has been pretty solid for the Chiefs on the early season. The rookie was expected to be the lead back and through the first 5 games, it appears as if he has won that job.

But, his production has seen a decrease after a very impressive opening week. Fantasy owners were high on this guy as in majority of leagues, Helaire was a first round pick. In last week’s game against the Raiders, his touchdown pass got called back. He finished the game with 10 carries for 40 yards while also catching 3 passes for 40 yards.

The Chiefs will going up against the 12th ranked Buffalo Bills rush defense, who currently allow an average of 108.6 yards per game on the ground. The Bills defense got chewed up in Week 5 against the Tennessee Titans rushing game. While Derrick Henry is way bigger and stronger than Clyde the Glide, I still expect Helaire to have a solid game.

If the Bills do incorporate the Patriots and Raiders defensive scheme of dropping more people into coverage and only rushing three, the Chiefs will need to turn to their run game to work their way up the field. I think Helaire is going to get solid production in this game, recording 1 rushing touchdown and 1 passing touchdown.
