Kansas City Chiefs Will Drop 38 Points On This Buffalo Defense

There is no denying that the Kansas City Chiefs have the most explosive offense in the NFL. Although they do not have the highest scoring offense in the league, they are ranked 8th in points per game with an average of 29.8. Do not sleep on this Bills offense either; they are currently averaging 27.8 points per game.

Defensively, the Chiefs have a top 10 scoring defense, currently allowing 22.0 points per game. The Bills rank in the bottom half of scoring defense, allowing nearly 30 points per game. But, make no mistake this Bills defense is legit. They’ve played in some games where they have had early leads and so the stats got inflated in garbage time. Also, they allowed 42 points to the Titans, which of course is going to inflate the average.

As it currently sits, ESPN has set the over/under for this game at 57.5. It would be enticing to bet the under as the Bills are known for their defense, but, I would take the over. The Bills played poorly last night on both sides of the ball. But, they were dealing with some offensive injuries and their offense has proven to be more explosive with the addition of Stefon Diggs.

Keep in mind that the Chiefs defense is coming off their worst game of the season. I expect this to be somewhat high scoring, with the Chiefs dropping nearly 40 points on Monday Night Football.
