3. Browns Hold Jonathan Taylor Scoreless
Jonathan Taylor has not completely turned it on just yet. When Marlon Mack went down for the season, this put the rookie out of Wisconsin immediately as the No. 1 back in Indy. He has scored just two touchdowns in four games.
Taylor finished with 101 yards in Week 2 against the Minnesota Vikings but has just 127 yards combined in the two games since. Taylor has 10 receptions on the season and six of them came in Week 1.
The Browns did not allow Ezekiel Elliott to get it going early in their matchup Sunday and they will have to contain Taylor in the same way.
No matter how many years he spends in the league, Rivers can still make a mistake. If the Colts establish the run, that makes their veteran quarterback’s job that much easier. The Browns know they will have to stop Taylor early and often.
