2. Colts Force Multiple Turnovers
Indianapolis suffered a big loss when Malik Hooker went down with an injury. Their defense stepped up in Week 2 and forced the Vikings to turn the ball over. They will have a chance for the same fate against the Jets.
Sam Darnold has thrown 29 touchdowns in 28 career games. He has struggled with turnovers since entering the league. The Jets do not have a strong supporting cast which could lead to some miscues and poor execution. That is what we have seen over the first two weeks of the season.
The Colts’ defense is much improved and they showed that during their Week 2 victory.
Ball security will be extremely key for Darnold and the Jets in this one. It will be up to the Colts to force New York into some bad decisions and bad plays.
