4. Dolphins Continue Struggle Recording Touchdowns
The Dolphins were able to hang with the Seattle Seahawks for a while on Sunday, but the biggest problem was that they could not get into the endzone.
When six scoring possessions only results in one touchdown, there is a problem with being able to finish off drives. Miami does not have the pieces for these struggles to change, especially against a talented 49ers defense.
The Dolphins will be able to move the ball a little bit on Sunday, but they will really struggle when the field starts to get smaller.
Without a solid weapon on offense that the team can turn to in crucial situations, Miami runs the risk of stalling over and over against teams with top-end talent on defense. I would expect Miami to have several scoring drives but that the majority will result in field goals rather than in touchdowns.
