The New York Giants and Chicago Bears are set to face off on Sunday afternoon in Week 2 NFL action. Both teams are relatively unknown quantities, although the Bears began the season with a big comeback win over the Detroit Lions while the Giants lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Mitchell Trubisky put together a huge fourth quarter performance for the Bears last week and ended up completing 20 of his 36 pass attempts for 242 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions. It was a game that will keep him in the starting lineup, at least for now.
Daniel Jones, on the other hand, showed flashes of brilliance and flashes of frustration in Week 1. He completed 26 of his 41 passes for 279 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions. New York lost to the Steelers by a final score of 26-16.
Both of these teams are going to bring everything they have to the field this week. It should be a very entertaining matchup. However, neither team is considered a legitimate contender in the NFC this season.
All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at five bold predictions for the Giants vs. Bears matchup in Week 2.
