5 bold predictions for the Giants vs. Cowboys matchup in Week 5

America’s Game of the Week will feature the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys. The Giants are currently winless at 0-4, while the Cowboys are 1 game ahead of the Giants, with a 1-3 record. If it weren’t the miracle in Atlanta, both teams would be winless heading into this matchup.

Nonetheless, this matchup is big for both teams as a win for either team will bring them an inch closer to the top of the NFC East. Being that this is a divisional game, it will also have large standing later in the year as the race for the NFC East nears.

The Giants and Cowboys are on different timelines. In New York, they are in the process of rebuilding and lost their star running back Saquon Barkley to an ACL injury in Week 2. The Cowboys are considered by many a playoff team and in the eyes of some, a Super Bowl team.

They have not played up to par this year and will look to turn things around in this week’s matchup against the New York Giants. But, the Giants are playing hard for Joe Judge and will look to win their first game of the season.

With that being said, let’s take a look at five bold predictions for the New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys matchup in Week 5 of the 2020 NFL season.
