4. Darrell Henderson Continues His Dominant Play
There were no shortage of questions surrounding the Rams’ backfield situation prior to the start of the season. Darrell Henderson’s impact over the last two weeks has put Los Angeles on notice in regards to his potential as a player coming to a reality.
After receiving just three carries and producing just six yards in Week 1 agains the Cowboys, Henderson elevated his game. He managed to make the most of his 12 carries in his performance against the Eagles— averaging 6.8 yards per carry to rack up 81 rushing yards and one touchdown.
Against a tough Bills defense, Henderson received a season-high 20 carries and averaged 5.7 yards per carry— resulting in 114 total rushing yards, along with a touchdown run. Considering the matchup…that’s no easy feat for any running back.
The Giants’ defense is a far more favorable matchup for Henderson than what he faced last week against the Bills. He could end his outing with volumes in excess of 110 rushing yards and two touchdown runs.
