Houston Texans Will Have Less Than 4 Penalties

Surprisingly, the Houston Texans have been disciplined on the year. Typically, they are in the top 10 of penalties per game. But, thus far on the year they are averaging about 5 penalties per game. They will need to bring that number down versus the Titans as you cannot give this team extra yardage.

In Week 5 against the Tennessee Titans, the Buffalo Bills had 10 penalties. Most of them came on crucial downs. They failed to get off the field on 3rd down and as a result, the Titans cashed in on touchdowns. The Texans cannot do that this week if they want to win.

The Texans need to stay away from the silly holding and false start penalties. They need to stay away from the illegal contact and pass interference calls. They need to play clean football and focus on stopping the run game of the Titans. The more opportunities you give them, the more Derrick Henry will be touching the ball.

If the Texans want any chance of salivating there season, it starts with a win this Sunday. Coaching will matter in this game. The Texans need to play smarter, harder, and faster than the Titans. Having less penalties is one way of doing that.
