The Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars are both coming off close victories. While many predict Tennessee will take the division, many are counting the Jaguars out this year. The winner of this matchup will hold the top spot in the AFC South standings entering Week 3.

Last week was a promising start for the young Jaguars team. However, the Titans have been dominant at home against Jacksonville. Tennesse is the heavy favorite in this matchup. Do the Jaguars have any tricks up their sleeve to get a surprise victory?

While the Titans have given the Jaguars plenty of trouble in Tennessee over the years, one player, in particular, has wreaked havoc on this Jaguars defense. That player of course is Titans running back Derrick Henry. Jacksonville has had no answer for Henry’s size and strength in the past. Will the Jaguars finally put a stop to King Henry’s reign of terror over their defense?

While he may not be flashy, Ryan Tannehill has been incredibly efficient for the Titans. This Jaguars’ secondary is incredibly young. CJ Henderson was fantastic in his rookie debut, but regardless, the secondary has a lot to prove. Tennessee does a great job of taking big shots downfield when opportunities arise. Will the Titans expose Jacksonville’s young secondary this week?

The Titans’ efficient offense is the most talked about, but make no mistake, they have a very stingy defense. However, they will be without their starting corner Adoree Jackson this week. Will his absence make a significant impact? All will be reviled shortly.

With that being said, let’s dive into five bold predictions for the Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Tennessee Titans matchup in Week 2 of the 2020 NFL season.
