Clyde Edwards-Helaire Will Find The End Zone

Last week, I had predicted two touchdowns from the rookie against the Bills. While I was wrong, he still managed to have a great day in the Week 6 win. In fact, the Chiefs relied on their run game as Helaire rushed 26 times for 161 yards. The Chiefs rushed for 245 yards, which is the most for them since 2012.

The Kansas City Chiefs drafted Clyde at the end of the 1st round in the 2020 draft and it is paying off as he has provided valuable production to this offense. Many are questioning his role going forward as the Chiefs signed former Steelers and Jets HB, Le’Veon Bell.

It is going to take time for Bell to learn for this offense and when he does, I think he will be more involved in the passing game. Edwards-Helaire has shown enough to maintain the lead back spot on this team. This week, it is not known whether or not Bell will even see the field. Regardless, I think Edwards-Helaire will post another nice game.

Clyde the Glide will be facing a Bronco team that ranks in the upper half of rush defenses, currently allowing an average of 110.6 yards per game. The Chiefs have been turning to their run game more often this year as they try to find a balanced attack. This week will be the week that Clyde finds the end zone for the first time since Week 1.
