5. Matthew Stafford Throws for 300 Yards

Matthew Stafford is a gunslinger. He missed a lot of time in 2019 due to an injury but has not missed a beat here in 2020. In the season opener, Stafford threw the ball 42 times and he finished with 33 pass attempts against the Packers. He has yet to eclipse 300 yards but this could be the first game in which he does.

The Lions rushing attack has not been able to get going. Adrian Peterson has been productive when he gets the ball, but he has not run in bulk just yet. This is also because the Lions have played from behind.

If they are going to beat the Cardinals, they will have t score points and that will be put on the arm of Stafford. This could be a classic Stafford performance where the ball is in the arm 550 times and he finishes with 350 yards.

Kenny Golladay is expected to return for the Lions in Week 3. This is a huge return for a strong receiving duo in Detroit. This could be a boost for the Lions and it will certainly help Stafford.
