5 bold predictions for the Lions vs. Jaguars matchup in Week 6

The Detroit Lions will be traveling to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars this week. While both teams are sitting with one win, they are hoping this week will start a turnaround. The season is still young and anything is possible.

If either of these teams goes on a run, they could make the playoffs with the format update. It will be interesting to see if either of these two teams can make a surge. However, any hopes of the playoffs will virtually die with a loss this week.

The Detroit Lions are a D’Andre Swift touchdown drop away from being even at 2-2. The losses for Detroit have come from Chicago, New Orleans, and Green Bay. All the games were close except for the Packers game, which has been the story for every team to play Green Bay. The Lions also beat a very good Cardinals team. This is a better team than their record indicates.

Meanwhile, Jacksonville had such optimism after a week 1 win against Indianapolis. They then lost in nail biting fashion to the currently undefeated Titans. The Jaguars were showing a lot of promise in the first two weeks. However, all hopes for a strong season went down the drain after 3 straight losses to winless teams. This is a must win for Doug Marrone who is sitting on one of the hottest seats in the league.

This matchup may not be the most exciting on paper, but both teams could put together some very good offense. This game could end up being a shootout with two good offenses and two pours defenses. Here are 5 bold predictions for the Lions vs. Jaguars matchup in Week 6.
