The Lions Will Hold Aaron Jones In Check
Next up, the Packers are likely going to look to establish running back Aaron Jones early in this contest. Unfortunately for Green Bay, the Lions are going to do an excellent job of shutting down the run.
Jones is a running back capable of breaking a big play anytime he touches the football. Last season, he scored 16 touchdowns on the ground. In Week 1, Jones carried the ball 16 times for 66 yards and a score.
Detroit will not have any of the Packers’ run game. They will hold Jones in check and will only allow 60 rushing yards.
That will force the Packers to lean heavily on Aaron Rodgers. Detroit will have their hands full with the passing game, but they aren’t going to let the run game get going at all.
