5 bold predictions for the Panthers vs. Chargers matchup in Week 3

This Week 3 matchup between the Carolina Panthers and Los Angeles Chargers will feature two teams that are currently in rebuild mode. Unfortunately, both teams have suffered injuries that will impact them moving forward.

The Panthers will be without Christian McCaffrey for four to six weeks after he suffered a high-ankle sprain. This is not an ideal situation for the 0-2 Panthers who have been struggling.

The Matt Rhule era is not off to a hot start and it will be interesting to see what he does throughout the season to improve. The Panthers were taken down 31-17 by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 2.

The Los Angeles Chargers had No. 6 overall pick Justin Herbert make his professional debut against the Kansas City Chiefs. Tyrod Taylor was dealing with chest pains during pregame warmups and he was forced to miss the game. In the end, it was an overtime loss for Los Angeles after they gave the Chiefs all they could handle.

Heading into Week 3 game, both teams will just look to get better and show promising signs for the future.

With that being said, let’s take a look at five bold predictions for the Carolina Panthers vs. Los Angeles Chargers matchup in Week 3 of the 2020 NFL season.
