4. Calvin Ridley Has A Monster Performance

Entering Monday’s game in Green Bay, Ridley had 21 catches for 329 yards and four touchdowns in three games. He went over 100 yards in all three games. Against the Packers, Ridley was held without a catch. He will have to bounce back in a big way against Carolina, especially if Julio Jones is forced to miss the game with a hamstring injury.

The Panthers have allowed a 100-yard receiver twice this season. Mike Evans in Week 2 and Keenan Allen in the following week both went over the century mark against a Panthers’ secondary that is not allowing many yards per game through the air.

If Jones is forced to miss this game, Ridley will have to step up. Hayden Hurst has not been effective and Russell Gage has come back down to Earth.

The Falcons have another winnable game on their hands in Week 5. There will be room to navigate for this offense when they take on Carolina. That is a good thing because they will have to outscore the Panthers. They cannot rely on their defense.
