The AFC West has been dominated by the Kansas City Chiefs over the past few years and it does not look like that will change this season. In Week 5, the Las Vegas Raiders will try to keep pace in this matchup.
It was a roller-coaster week for the Chiefs as they prepared to play the New England Patriots. Cam Newton tested positive for coronavirus and this put the game in jeopardy.
After a couple of rounds of tests for both teams, the NFL decided to postpone the game until Monday night because there were no more positive tests. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs can flex their muscles further in the AFC.
The Raiders are coming off a 30-23 loss to the Buffalo Bills. This dropped them to 2-2 on the season which is second in the AFC West. Las Vegas’ skill position players continued to look impressive in this one led by Josh Jacobs and Darren Waller. There are plenty of weapons for Derek Carr to work with down the stretch of the season.
