5. Sony Michel Will Rush for 100 Yards
The Las Vegas Raiders are allowing 120.5 rushing yards per game, but what the Patriots have been doing is letting teams know they have to prepare for a dual threat quarterback in Cam Newton. Now it is time for them to let their running backs do the work on offense.
The best way to keep Derek Carr and the Raiders’ offense off the field is to control the clock and to do that it is time for Sony Michel to his thing and finally get the proper number of carries to gain 100 yards rushing.
Michel is averaging 3.3 yards per carry this season with him totaling 17 carries for 56 yards in the first two games, but that has been with Newton being featured. Now with teams focusing on the quarterback, it is time for Michel to take his turn in the running rotation, which he’s capable of doing.
The Patriots running back last rushed for 100 yards in a game as a rookie on four occasions back in 2018, and last season he did come close with a game of 96 yards rushing, so he’s very capable of achieving the feat once again.
