4. Derek Carr Turns It Over Twice

As good as the Saints’ offense was, their defense was just as impressive. Entering the 2020 season, the defense in New Orleans was expected to be a strong unit and it certainly looked that way in Week 1.

The Saints were able to pick off Brady twice yesterday. They took advantage of a sailed throw after a miscommunication between Brady and Mike Evans. The second interception saw Janoris Jenkins jump and out route and return it for a touchdown.

This is a unit that will not be overshadowed. They are deep, talented, and extremely quick. Carr could be in for a long afternoon throwing the football.

This is not against Carr as much as it is praise for the New Orleans’ defense. There will be some chances to get to Carr and force some poor throws and questionable decisions.
