Carlos Hyde Will Have 100 Yards Rushing
So far this season, Chris Carson has been doing a lot of damage out of the backfield for the Seahawks. However, he is entering this week with a questionable status for his availability.
Luckily for the Seahawks, they have another back fresh off a 1,000 yard in Carlos Hyde as the backup running back. So far, Hyde hasn’t had much of an opportunity with Seattle because Carson has emerged as a three-down workhorse.
While the Dolphins’ defense has been stout against the run thus far, it’s likely Miami will focus a lot of attention on stopping Russell Wilson. With so much attention going towards Wilson, the Seahawks’ rushing attack may be in for a big game.
If Carson plays, it will likely be in a more limited role this week to preserve him for later in the year. Hyde may get the majority of touches, and he will make the most of them.
This Seahawks offense has tons of weapons across the field. The dynamic of the team has shifted from defensive and ground and pound to an offensive juggernaut. Hyde has already shown that he can carry the load as a workhorse back in the past. This week, he will have his best outing of the year and rush for over 100 yards against the Dolphins.
