4. Ben Roethlisberger Tops 400 Passing Yards
Big Ben Roethlisberger will be playing in his 221st career game on Sunday, though only his 3rd since returning from major elbow surgery this offseason. He has exceeded expectations this season so far, throwing for 5 TDs-1 INT, 68.5% accuracy and 540 yards in two games.
JuJu Smith-Schuster has continued to play at a borderline Pro Bowl level, Diontae Johnson has proven that his rookie season was not a fluke, and rookie Chase Claypool had a coming-out party last week with an 84-yard touchdown to start his NFL career.
Making matters worse, the Texans secondary remains one of the weak points of the team and is still without #2 corner Gareon Conley, who is on temporary Injured Reserved. Through two weeks against two of the most prolific offenses in the league, the team is surprisingly ranked 3rd in the NFL in passing yards allowed but that can be chalked up to a tumultuous rush defense (30th in the NFL).
With the team moving current starter Lonnie Johnson to safety, the Texans could feature former 1st round pick, Vernon Hargreaves, at cornerback, which is a dream matchup for the tall Steelers wide receivers.
