2. Russell Wilson Builds His Case For MVP
Russell Wilson will be in the MVP conversation this season, with the likes of Patrick Mahomes and Aaron Rodgers.
Wilson should put the Seahawks in excellent position to remain undefeated against a Minnesota team traveling half way across the country.
Entering Week 3, Wilson had 14 touchdowns, which was an NFL record. But he wasn’t done writing his name in the record books during the first month of the season.
After two touchdowns last week vs. Miami, Wilson has 16 on the season. That mark ties him with Peyton Manning’s 16 touchdowns through 4 games — an NFL record which Manning set in 2013 with the Denver Broncos.
Wilson appears to be on a mission this season, and unfortunately for Minnesota’s defense, it could be a long night on Sunday.
