One this week’s NFL slate, there are “must-watch games” — the Patriots-Chiefs on Sunday evening, for example. And then, there are might-not-be-able-to-watch games. The Houston Texans and Minnesota Vikings are scheduled for a noon kickoff. But, after the Tennessee Titans, the Vikings’ Week 3 opponent, had nine virus tests return positive, this game is now in question.
Given those happenings, the Vikings-Texans game could be among the strangest in recent memory. The only thing worse than being 0-3, is being 0-3 with a facility shutdown, and being unable to hold in-person practices and meetings.
When you put it that way, consider it a must-watch. Perhaps just as difficult as the matchup itself, the Houston Texans and Minnesota Vikings will also be battling history. Since 1980, only six teams have ever made the Playoffs after an 0-3 start. Funny enough, the last team to do it? The Houston Texans, with Deshaun Watson and Bill O’Brien in 2018.
Given the toughness of their respective divisions, that promises to be no easy feat. If you don’t consider this battle of two teams with a combined 0-6 record to be must-watch, surely you consider it a must-win.
With that being said let’s take a look at five bold predictions for the Minnesota Vikings vs. Houston Texans matchup in Week 4 of the 2020 NFL season.
