Texans Force Multiple Turnovers
The NFL schedule makers did the Houston Texans little favor, having them play arguably the two best teams in the league, and then a resurgent Steelers team. But they’ve certainly done themselves in by not forcing a single turnover heading into Week 4.
This week’s game could become just what the doctor ordered. Houston is the lone team in the NFL without a single takeaway, but they’re facing an undisciplined Vikings team that gives up the ball on an average of 2.3 times per outing.
The Texans’ secondary hasn’t been great with Murray as the head of the ship, but he’s been among the best players within the group. He could be the one that baits Cousins into a turnover. Perhaps J.J. Watt has a vintage play or two, where he looks as dominant as he did in that Ravens game.
That feels like the recipe for success. Houston forced at least one turnover in 12 of 16 games in 2019, and went 3-1 when they forced at least two. Expect them to be focused on that goal in Week 4.
