3. Haskins Continues Gradual Improvement
This is the first year that Dwayne Haskins has entered the season as the full-time starting quarterback for the Washington Football Team. So far, he has not set the world on fire or convinced anyone that he can be a superstar in this league with his performance in the initial two games of the season.
However, Haskins has been very smart with the football and has shown improvement (albeit slow but steady) over his first two games, and that progress should continue against the Browns.
This matchup features two different types of quarterbacks, but if Haskins can stick to what he does well, he could give his team a chance to win the game. He likely will not beat the Browns all on his own or even be asked to put the team on his shoulders, but if he can avoid costly turnovers that should give his team opportunities to score.
With such a talented defense anchoring Washington, all Haskins needs to do is get a little better every game.
