Washington Football Team Logs 5+ Sacks

The Washington Football TEam drafted Chase Young with the second pick in April’s draft and this solidified the defensive line. They are currently sixth in the league with 15 sacks, but have significantly slowed down since their Week 1 dominance of the Philadelphia Eagles. Against a mediocre offensive line, they could get back on track.

The Giants needed help along the line and this led them to drafting Andrew Thomas to play left tackle. This is a chance for Washington to pin their ears back and get to the quarterback.

Young is back from a groin injury and Montez Sweat is having a good season thus far. If Washington can get to Jones, they will control the game and cause some turnovers.

Washington has been conservative on the defensive end because their secondary is weak. They need to put pressure on the passer to help their secondary. This is a chance to do so.
