4. Anthony Brown Struggles Mightily
Moving the ball is going to be difficult for the Ravens this weekend as they could be down to their third-string quarterback once again. Lamar Jackson does not look like he will be healthy enough to play and the status of Tyler Huntley remains up in the air. That could lead to undrafted rookie Anthony Brown making another start.
Brown started against the Bengals in Week 18 and struggled mightily. He completed 19-of-44 for 286 yards and two interceptions. That performance likely doesn’t instill much confidence in the fan base, understandably so.
Brown is going to struggle once again this week as he is being put in a very difficult spot. He will throw at least two more interceptions and complete under 50 percent of his passes again.
3. Bengals’ Defense Dominates
Injuries are an unfortunate part of the game, but the Bengals are going to certainly do their best to take advantage of the opportunity facing them. Without Lamar Jackson in the lineup, the job for Cincinnati’s defense has gotten much easier.
Whether they are facing Tyler Huntley or Anthony Brown, this is a defense that is going to have a big game. After getting to the quarterback with success in 2021, the Bengals’ pass rush was not as fearsome this season. But, they looked good last week against the Ravens and will have a big game again.
The Bengals are going to rack up at least four sacks this weekend and force multiple turnovers as well. Baltimore won’t score double-digit points as Cincinnati is locked in and looking to make another Super Bowl run.
