Indianapolis Colts

It feels like just yesterday that the Indianapolis Colts won 10 games behind the elite level play of Andrew Luck. Fast forward to today, and the Colts are coming off a 7-9 season preparing for Rivers to be their quarterback. Life comes at you fast in the NFL.

To focus on the positive, Rivers is in Indy on a one-year deal, and it is expected to be longer than that. Rivers joins T.Y. Hilton and Marlon Mack on the offensive side. The Colts also added Jonathan Taylor and Michael Pittman Jr. in the draft. On the defensive side, DeForest Buckner agreed to a deal to join Justin Houston and Darius Leonard.

The Colts have arrived. They won nine of their last 10 games in 2018 when they had a competent quarterback under center. They will certainly have that in Rivers. They are also getting an experienced player who is hungry for a championship.
