After a two-week lull where the Philadelphia Eagles looked a little shaky, they have gotten things back on track. They continued their dominant season with a convincing victory over the Tennessee Titans in Week 13, 35-10.

Sunday was another huge game for quarterback Jalen Hurts, who has announced his presence as a franchise quarterback this season. Tennessee has struggled against the pass on defense this season and the Eagles took full advantage as Hurts had arguably his best game of the season.

In a revenge game for A.J. Brown, who was traded by the Titans to the Eagles this offseason, Hurts brought his A-game. He completed 29-of-39 pass attempts for 380 yards and three touchdowns, adding another score on the ground. Eight of those completions went to Brown, who gained 119 yards and scored two touchdowns as well.

That performance was yet another feather in the cap of Hurts, who has made some major strides as a passer this season. That development has put him squarely in the mix for the MVP as he is among the most productive players in the NFL this season.

As shared by NFL on CBS, Hurts is currently first in the league in win percentage, passing touchdowns to interception ratio and rushing touchdowns. Philadelphia has a .917 winning percentage at 11-1 to go along with his 20-3 ratio and nine scores on the ground. He is currently third in passer rating with 108.3 and second in passing yards per attempt with 8.24.

This is a special season in the making for Hurts, who is neck and neck with Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs and putting some distance between the rest of the competition. On the season Hurts is completing 68.1 percent of his passes with 2,940 yards.

A three-game road trip awaits the Eagles as they will make stops at the New York Giants, Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys. If Hurts continues playing at a high level through that and to close out the season, he will put a ton of pressure on Mahomes to take home the MVP award.
