1. Isaiah Simmons, OLB/S, Clemson

One of the most intriguing defensive prospects in the entire 2020 NFL Draft class is Clemson standout Isaiah Simmons. He has the ability to play either outside linebacker or safety. That alone shows just how athletic this kid is.

New York needs a lot more athleticism on the defensive side of the ball. Simmons would bring that and then some. He racked up 104 tackles, seven sacks, one forced fumble, three interceptions, and eight defended passes in 2019.

Simmons is the definition of a playmaker and he should be available when the Giants pick at No. 4 overall. There are other players the team could target with the pick, but this should be a consideration. Getting a talent like Simmons isn’t something that every franchise has the option of and he could change everything for New York’s defense.
