Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are tied for first place in the NFC South with a record of 3-2 but it does not reflect the essence of the team. For a team as loaded as the Bucs are, they have played more to the opposition than their potential.
While Tom Brady is showing his age, it’s the other weapons the Bucs have on both sides of the ball that must rise to the occasion.
Entering their Week 6 match-up against the 4-0 Green Bay Packers, the Bucs will need to be at their best. It’s time for primetime players such as Rob Gronkowski to make their presence felt. To add more salt to the wound is that the Bucs can’t afford a loss Sunday as the Panthers and Saints are still hovering.
The Bucs and their All-Star lineup have struggled in their first five games and must find a way to put pressure on the Packers on both sides of the ball. If not, the Bucs will drop to 3-3 and the questions will begin for a team who many believe should have started the season undefeated after a huge offseason.
