5 NFL teams who should consider giving Colin Kaepernick a chance

It remains to be seen whether or not an NFL team will be willing to give Colin Kaepernick a chance to compete for a roster spot when training camp rolls around.

Kaepernick has not been signed since opting out of his contract prior to the start of the 2017 season. The last game he played in the NFL was a 25-23 loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Jan. 1, 2017. During that display, he threw for 215 yards along with a touchdown

During his final season with the 49ers, Kaepernick started in 11 games and posted a 1-10 record within that period. He completed 59.2% of his pass attempts for 2,241 yards, 16 touchdowns, and 4 interceptions during those performances.

Kaepernick, 32, has been preparing for years to make his return to the NFL. All he needs is an invite to a team’s training camp and an honest opportunity to compete for a roster spot to showcase his abilities. That would help to show teams if he appears capable of producing in games.

With that being said, here are five teams who should give Colin Kapernick another chance in the NFL.
