New York Giants
Following the concerning allegations involving DeAndre Baker from earlier in the offseason, the New York Giants would be best served to try to make a move to add another starting-caliber cornerback like Logan Ryan.
There aren’t many intriguing options for the Giants to be able to overcome any possible absence from Baker by turning to an option already on its roster. The top of the list features Sam Beal but he clearly hasn’t shown nearly enough to be trusted as a reliable contributor.
When looking beyond Beal, there are other options the Giants could turn to but they simply aren’t intriguing enough. The job likely wouldn’t get done with Corey Ballentine, Julian Love, or Grant Haley in such a role during the upcoming season.
Managing to add a cornerback like Ryan after already signing James Bradberry in free agency would cap off a highly impressive haul. It would help further New York’s efforts to compete in the NFC East in 2020.
