5 NFL teams who should make a late push to sign Logan Ryan

Houston Texans

The only certainty the Houston Texans have when it comes to the cornerback position is that Bradley Roby will be the top starter. There is significant uncertainty regarding the rest of the depth chart at this position and they will need training camp to sort it out.

Turning to either Lonnie Johnson or Gareon Conley as a starter appears to be the most likely option for the Texans when evaluating their current personnel. Neither player has displayed nearly enough of an impact to justify filling such an important role alongside Roby.

Making the move to sign a versatile corner like Logan Ryan would be the best option for the Texans. They would go from having a potential liability at this spot to it becoming a legitimate strength.

Between the Tennessee Titans coming off an AFC Championship Game appearance and the busy offseason the Indianapolis Colts had, the Texans must do what they can to ensure their prominence as other teams are on the rise in the AFC South.
