Buffalo Bills
The 2019 season was a solid performance from the Buffalo Bills as they finished with a 10-6 record. They finished just a few games back from the New England Patriots in the AFC East standings and it was enough to earn an AFC Wild Card appearance.
The Bills did their work early this offseason by trading for Stefon Diggs from the Minnesota Vikings using a first-round pick to help further Josh Allen’s development. This accomplished their need for a primary receiving threat and will help supporting cast talents like John Brown and Cole Beasley maximize their impact.
There were some notable losses the Bills experienced with Shaq Lawson, Jordan Phillips, and Lorenzo Alexander, but the team made some helpful additions as well. Some of the signings such as Mario Addison, Vernon Butler, and Quinton Jefferson helped bolster the defensive line along with the selection of A.J. Epenesa.
With the New England Patriots losing Tom Brady in free agency, the AFC East will be open for the Bills. Being able to finish the regular season as a higher seed could help with going further in the playoffs in 2020 than just the Wild Card round.
