Darius Slayton, New York Giants

The New York Giants experienced a significant amount of injuries to its receiving threats throughout last season. One player that managed to step up amidst that adversity was Darius Slayton after being selected in the 5th round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

The context behind Slayton’s original role with the Giants makes his to all the more impressive. Despite not appearing in New York’s initial two games, he still totaled 48 catches for 740 yards and 8 touchdowns overall on the season.

When considering Slayton will be able to begin the 2020 season with a legitimate role in the Giants’ offense, that alone should help him raise his production. An additional factor that should help is Daniel Jones having actual NFL experience to start the upcoming season, too.
