5 offenses that improved the most using the NFL Draft

Indianapolis Colts

No longer being able to rely on the excellence of Andrew Luck proved to be too much for the Indianapolis Colts to overcome in 2019. It should at least help to have Philip Rivers under center in place of Jacoby Brissett during the upcoming season.

A significant issue for the Colts last season involved a lack of talent around T.Y. Hilton at the wide receiver position that was exacerbated by injuries. Using the No. 34 pick on Michael Pittman Jr. was precisely the type of talent Indianapolis needed to add.

The Colts have Parris Campbell returning from injury and entering his second NFL season in 2020, too. However, having a wide receiver that stands at 6-feet, 4-inches is something Indianapolis has lacked in recent years to pair with Hilton.

It certainly didn’t hurt for the Colts to add Jonathan Taylor with the No. 41 selection either. They now have a talented running back to pair with Marlon Mack in addition to having a receiving threat out of the backfield in Nyheim Hines.
