5 Players the Green Bay Packers Need to Target in Free Agency

Mike Iupati, G, Arizona Cardinals

Should Justin McCray leave town, the Packers may need to address the interior of their offensive line. At least contractually and from a talent perspective, they appear to be set at every other spot on the O-line.

While Green Bay could turn to in-house depth pieces to replace anyone that exits via free agency, it might not be the worst idea to go grab a veteran guard to shore things up in the trenches.

It doesn’t specifically have to be Iupati, but Arizona is likely moving on from their expensive right guard – especially since he’s missed so much time the past two years due to injuries. Atlanta’s Andy Levitre is another veteran option the Packers could turn to.

One way or another, Green Bay needs to make sure a solid o-line only gets better and not worse. Either talking McCray into staying or bringing in a proven veteran is the best way to go.
