Now, let’s get into potential options for the Eagles that have a very good chance of being there at No. 21. Denzel Mims is one of the most popular names in the draft right now after the impressive NFL Draft Combine performance he put on.
At one point, Mims was considered a mid second-round pick. Some mock drafts have him going in the top-20. The Eagles taking him at No. 21 would be right around where he should end up.
Philadelphia had trouble at wide receiver last season. Injuries played a big part and there have been rumors that Alshon Jeffery isn’t happy. No matter what, Mims would be a good pick.
Last season at Baylor, Mims caught 66 passes for 1,020 yards and 12 touchdowns. If the Eagles take him, he would provide size, athleticism, and big-play potential. Mims would make sense for Philadelphia.
