5 Saints players to keep a close eye on leading up to the 2020 NFL season

The New Orleans Saints finished with an impressive 13-3 record but was barely short of earning a first-round bye in the playoffs. New Orleans failed to get the job done as they lost 26-20 to the Minnesota Vikings in the NFL Wild Card Round.

Despite facing a restrictive salary cap situation and not having a full stock of draft picks, the Saints managed to make positive changes to its roster. They added Emmanuel Sanders and Malcolm Jenkins headlining their free agency additions while bringing in Cesar Ruiz and Zack Baun using the 2020 NFL Draft

Simply put, the Saints appear primed to be one of the few teams with enough talent to contend for a Super Bowl victory during the upcoming season. They will need some supporting cast talents to step up their production in order to accomplish it, though.

With that being said, here are five Saints players to watch during the upcoming 2020 season.
