5 sleepers to watch in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

Kyle Dugger

Along with Chinn, Kyle Dugger is someone that’s made a name for himself at a lesser-known school. Unlike Chinn though, Dugger played his college football at the Division II level. That isn’t to say that Dugger is less talented than some of the other safeties in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Prior to entering the NFL Draft, Dugger attended Lenoir-Rhyne — a private university in Hickory, North Carolina. Throughout his time at Lenoir-Rhyne, Dugger always found himself around the football, totaling 10 interceptions and 36 pass breakups. In addition, he would recover six fumbles.

Even though he dominated in Division II, it remains to be seen if he can translate to the NFL. Nevertheless, his upside at the next level makes him an intriguing choice in the second round of the NFL Draft.
