The Green Bay Packers made it all the way to the NFC Championship Game and came up short against the San Francisco 49ers. Instead of focusing on how the Packers can bounce back in 2020, the focus has been on Aaron Rodgers’ future with the team.

The decisions the Packers made in the 2020 NFL Draft certainly did not help the situation. Instead of adding a prospect to help win with Rodgers, the Packers selected a quarterback prospect in the first round.

It’s difficult to envision the Packers sitting Jordan Love for long after investing a first-round pick to land him. The upcoming season would be an ideal opportunity for Love to learn behind Rodgers and re-evaluate if he’s ready to take on the starting quarterback role.

Many great quarterbacks have finished their careers on a different team than where they played their prime. The decision by Tom Brady to depart the New England Patriots for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was the latest name on that particular list.
