Washington Football Team
This is one of the teams that if Brissett was traded to, he would have the chnace to be the starter.
Washington was really hoping that Dwyane Haskins would be their guy. But after four weeks of poor performances, Ron Rivera announced that Haskins would be benched and Kyle Allen would get the chnace to start.
It’s looking more and more like Haskins either isn’t a capable everyday starter in the NFL or just needs a change of scenery. He finished with a 76.1 QB passer rating in seven starts last season and this year, it’s only slightly increased to 80.3, both well below the league average of 88.6. Allen’s QBR of 80.0 from last year doesn’t scream “future of franchise” either.
Brissett posted a 88.0 QBR last season with the Colts. He’s not an elite quarterback, but more of a game manager. But it’s been a constant carousel of quarterbacks for Washington for years so why not try another.
